We are delighted to welcome international solo percussionist and composer, Dame Evelyn Glennie to discuss her life and career with City Lit Principal, Mark Malcomson CBE. Dame Evelyn Glennie is a double GRAMMY winner, BAFTA nominee, recipient of the Polar Music Prize and the Companion of Honour. This lively discussion will include a sprinkling of musical demonstrations and an audience Q&A.
This will be followed by the presentation of Evelyn’s Fellowship Award, to celebrate her newest achievement of becoming a City Lit Lifetime Fellow. Please join us afterwards for a glass of wine in the City Lit Gallery.
