Evelyn Glennie Reads from ‘Listen’, the Picture Book about her Life

World famous percussionist Dame Evelyn Glennie joins us with a special event for children and their families. 

She will read from the picture book about her life: Listen: How Evelyn Glennie, a Deaf Girl, Changed Percussion by Shannon Stocker, illustrated by Devon Holzwarth. 

Then she will talk and answer questions about her life and experiences as a professional musician.

NOTE: this is a reading event, there will NOT be a music performance.

The event launches the annual Summer Reading Challenge and the theme is Read to the Beat.
