An intimate first look at Listen Up!
The Private View of Listen Up! offers funders and key collaborators an early, intimate introduction to Listen Up! — The Evelyn Glennie Foundation’s first major public residency at scale. Hosted in partnership with City Lit, the evening provides space to explore the exhibition before it opens to the public, meet the team behind the work, and gain insight into the Foundation’s emerging programme for the coming years. It reflects the residency’s central belief: listening is not passive, but a powerful, embodied practice that shapes how we connect with others and the world.
What to expect
Join us for a quiet, reflective preview of the Listen Up! exhibition, with drinks and conversation. You’ll have time to explore the artefacts, stories and global creative responses that reveal listening as a physical, emotional and imaginative practice. The event also offers opportunities to meet the Foundation team, City Lit partners, and other organisations shaping the future of listening‑led work.
Who’s invited?
This Private View is designed for funders, strategic partners and prospective collaborators whose work aligns with our mission to teach the world to listen. We’re bringing together organisations invested in the arts, education, accessibility, community engagement and cultural innovation — those who may wish to support, partner on or help develop the Foundation’s future programmes.
How do I get an invite?
Attendance is by invitation only to ensure an intimate and meaningful experience. Invitations are issued for one person, although additional guests may be possible depending on capacity. If you or your organisation are interested in supporting our work, exploring collaboration, or attending future private previews, please contact the Foundation to enquire.
