Portuguese Première of ‘Dreamachine’ with Orquestra Gulbenkian

The closing concert of the 41st Estoril Lisbon Festival brings together the Gulbenkian Orchestra and three GRAMMY winners: conductor David Alan Miller, percussionist Evelyn Glennie, American composer Michael Daugherty and Evelyn Glennie. For the first time, Portuguese audiences will be able to enjoy Daugherty’s Dreamachine live – a work written for and premièred by Glennie. The concert also features singer Katia Guerreiro in a celebration of traditional Portuguese fado music, plus The Fall of Constantinople by Turkish-American composer Kamran Ince.
