Dame Evelyn Glennie joins the World Doctors Orchestra in celebrating 70 years of the NHS. In their first visit to the UK, the WDO join forces with a massed NHS choir in what will be an historic showcase event. Featuring Joseph Schwantner’s thrilling percussion concerto and Karl Jenkins’ eternally popular mass for peace ‘The Armed Man’, we present a celebration of global collaboration and living composers in aid of Pathway UK, a charity supporting health services for the homeless and marginalised in our society.
